JACKSON — Today Jackson Mayor Derek Dobies announced seven endorsements from local and state labor organizations in his campaign for re-election. Dobies, who works as Chief of Staff for the Michigan AFL-CIO, has dedicated his career to fighting for working families across the state of Michigan.

“Jackson’s working families are the backbone of our city’s economy. That’s why I’m so proud to have the support of the hardworking men and women of Michigan’s labor movement in this race. As Mayor, I’ll never stop fighting to make our neighborhoods a great place to live for Jackson’s working families.”

Dobies is a dues-paying member of UAW Local 1981.
